So I got my tablet about a year ago, tested it out a few times and never looked at it again- until now. I dusted it off about three weeks ago and decided it was now or never. I didn't like how it worked in photoshop and since my PC is a piece of crap, Photoshop ran like sh** on it. So I did some searching to find a programme that wouldn't stress out my I lame ass PC while helping me manage and develop my skills with my tablet.

After "play testing a good few, I was referred [by a friend] to try out a programme named Paint Tool Sai. So I checked it out and I haven't looked back since. Some aspects of the UI might seem a bit "old school" but overall, it works great.

So far I have created at least five pieces of art that can be seen here on DA but I still have a looooong way to go so, if any one has any advice/tutorials [especially in regards to painting] I'd be more than happy to listen.

Working myself back into my favorite thing in the world. Art. Though I haven't put up anything of note in a while, the first thing i'm gonna do is put up some sketches so look out for those. Then I'm gonna start putting up some completed works... So look out for that and Happy New Year DA!

due to work and loss of inspiration to actually 'draw' anything on paper. My latest deviations are more in the realm of vector art. Thus you'll be seeing wallpapers, t-shirt designs and such.

I'm gradually getting back to my roots so bare with me, and some prayers would help as well.

This week has been probably one of the most unforgettable weeks of my life. (sigh)
I lost a friend, suicide. No one knows why but i guess there's not much anyone can do but just try to continue on. No one saw it coming, it hit us like a rock in the back of the head.
